Position description
Works closely with medical and administrative staff in the department. Collaborates with department personnel, including physicians, physicists and allied health staff to ensure hardware and software orders are received, configured, scheduled, and installed. Ensures equipment is labeled according to Mayo specifications. Researches, verifies, and documents device specifications according to purchase order and Mayo standards. Works in conjunction with service and business units to relocate equipment as requested by departments. Works independently while providing on-site installation, customer service, and technical installation and/or repair support per department or individual customer requests. Receives and processes access change requests for a variety of applications and systems and assures system accesses are appropriately granted and maintained in accordance with Mayo Clinic policies and standards. Serves as technical and equipment liaison in the field as needed to collaborate with other support services such as Help Desk, Telecommunications, Endpoint Support, Networks, Application Support and Supply Chain. Provides base education and answering of “how to” questions for specific hardware systems such as iPads, laptops and special order PCs and for access control to folders or applications relevant to Radiology.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in a technical, business or healthcare related field with 1 or more years of demonstrated technical experience. High school diploma or equivalent with 4 or more years of demonstrated technical experience may be considered.
Additional qualifications
Knowledge of computer hardware components and configuration as well as use of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook) required. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot relevant technology related issues. Communication skills in both individual and group settings and excellent time management and organizational skills. Able to perform without direct supervision. Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously. Problem solving and decision making skills.

8 hour rotating on campus shifts between the hours of 7AM-5PM, Monday-Friday. These shifts are split between the 3 team members.
