Responsibilities
Complete CNA coursework while you work at CHI as a Healthcare Support Tech.  You’ll gain valuable skills and experience to aid in the successful completion of the CNA Advance program. If you have a desire to advance your career in a healthcare community paired with a strong work history and customer service skills, we want to talk to you.What you’ll do:Screen employees, patients, and guests before gaining admittance to our facilities.Contribute to a culture of safety by providing assistance to coworkers in use of personal protective equipment.Distribute medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas. Restocks supplies and rotates inventory.  Facilitate effective communication by fielding incoming calls, accepting and communicating with visitors, and relaying pertinent information to appropriate staff.Actively participate in ongoing education to take and pass the CNA state exam in order to transition to a CNA role.
Qualifications
What you’ll need:CNA course completion and obtain certification within 6 months of hire.  BLS (Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hirePreferred Skills/ExperienceCritical thinking Professional verbal and written communication Customer service, guest service/hospitality experienceCHI Health Hospitals’ nursing teams cultivate an excuse-free environment where we hold each other accountable and operate as a compassionate care-giving team.
