Job details:

Description: Other Duties Performs varied clerical work involving a high degree of independent judgement and accuracy. Analyze master schedules to determine accuracy and appropriateness.

Create, Modify and maintain profiles.

 Create and maintain daily patient appointment schedules of TPMG physicians and non-physician providers adjusting time segments in the PARRS II system indicating clinic time and non-clinic time.

Cancel, reschedule and notify patients of appointment changes (if dept policy) Create, & Maintain master schedules, physician & non-physician work sheets in Microsoft Word and/or Microsoft Excel.

Secure, compile and report statistical data. Documenting and recording data accurately and legibly .

Participate in intradepartmental meetings and act as liaison with appropriate personnel. Release schedules on a timely basis for use by department personnel.

 Covers all departments assigned and other additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience (preferred but not required based on standard job TRAINING/WORK EXPERIENCE 

Must have at least 6months experience in Medical Offices environment in a position which demonstrates knowledge skill & experience in the following

1.            Problem solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, report and resolve.

2.            Knowledge of K.P.M.C.operational procedures preferred.

3.            Thorough Knowledge of automated systems: PARRS II, HEALTH CONNECT,  LOTUS NOTES.

4.            Setting priorities in a complex, busy environment, handling tasks simultaneously to include follow up..

5.            Thorough Knowledge of appointment making protocols in primary & specialty care.

6.            Good Communication skills, exhibiting diplomacy, tact, and caring attitude in all interactions.

7.            The ability to demonstrat good telephone etiquette and cope with every day pressure while interacting with staff, patients and/or their family members.

8.            Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written skills..

9.            Must posess initiative and have ability to make independent decisions.

10.         Must apply and retain thorough knowledge of all policies/procedures.

11.         Ability to sit and use a computer terminal 90% of the time and answer telephones.

12.         Good organizational skills.

13.         Word Processing Skills (MS Word & Excel)

14.         Must be service-oriented individual and maintain the highest level of courtesy to patients, members, staff and coworkers.

15.         Must convey proper information and/or instructions to patients.

16.         Good work history demonstrating dependability, stability and good  attendance.

17.         Perform varied clerical work involving a high degree of independent judgment, speed and accuracy.

18.         Must successfully complete regional Schedule Creation and Maintenance course when offered.

19.         Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned per contractual agreement.

20.         Overtime and additional hours are assigned per contractual agreeme

Workdays: Week1: Thu 9:00am-1:00pm, Fri/Sat 8:00am-5:00pm; Week 2: Sun/Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Thu 9:00am-1:00pm *Expected length of employment up to 90 days
Working Hours Start: 09:00 AM

Working Hours End: 01:00 PM
